C25K Week 3 Day 3
Okay, so consistency is not my thing.
I restarted the C25K this spring and got up to Week 3 Day 2. Then my husband decided we were going to build a house. And by that, I mean WE were going to build a house. So every spare second has been spent becoming a carpenter. Carpentry is not easy. I have discovered muscles that people only read about in anatomy textbooks.
Running took a back seat.
Until today. I don't know why, but this morning, I was motivated to get back in. Partly because I like how I feel after a run. Partly because we went to Dairy Queen last night. I started Weight Watchers again. I did this for awhile two years ago (consistency!) and it worked wonderfully. This time around I am really struggling to keep within my points*.
It was already hot at 6:00 this morning. I think it got down to 75 last night, but the humidity ran around 65%. That is what makes it so miserable.
I got a little light headed on the last run and downed two big glasses of water when I got back. I need to be careful of that; my boy has already gotten sick once because of the heat this summer.
Weight Watchers Activity Points:
Jogging: 9 minutes = 2 points
Walking: 19 minutes = 4 points
Temperature: 76
Shoes: Nike Fusion ST2 (loving these shoes)
*Okay, this whole post reminds me of the dogs in Up!..."Squirrel!!"
